Fortana del bosco eliceo DOC

This wine comes from the vine which is also known as golden grape, according to tradition. It is a ruby red colour with a typically vinous, floral (notes of violet or geranium), fruity (forest fruits, wild strawberries) and vegetal nose. Either still or sparkling, in the dry version is it fresh, quite tannic and sapid. It goes perfectly with traditional dishes like salama da sugo and eel, whereas the sweet version is good with red fruit tarts and the traditional ciambella.
