Lama di Valle Rosa Farmhouse

The Lama di Valle Rosa farmhouse takes its name from a canal traced in the Marrara valley, now reclaimed, to make it navigable, as it appears on maps by Penna in the 17th century and in the Sala delle Geografie in the Estense Castle.
The building is an old barn that was completely renovated between 2005 and 2006. It is located within a two-hectare park with a swimming pool and a vegetable garden.
Opposite the park is a renaturation, a seven-hectare ‘oasis’ comprising a two-hectare body of water and ten groves.
Lama di Valle Rosa farmhouse was awarded four daisies, which is equivalent to the four stars of hotel facilities. From October 2009, the conference room and wellness centre will be active.
