Located in Burana di Bondeno, in the heart of the Po Valley, the Cerutti farm is an organic, family-run business that produces high quality rice, spelt, barley, flour and eggs. The company is certified by the Suolo e Salute control body and respects the principles of organic farming, without using pesticides, GMOs or antibiotics.

Rice is grown on an area of about 11 hectares, in the Vialone nano and Carnaroli varieties, which are among the most popular for preparing risottos, thanks to their consistency and creaminess. The farm also raises laying hens, guaranteeing their welfare and feeding them with organic feed. The eggs are fresh and genuine, ideal for home cooking. The farm also produces rice, wheat, maize, spelt and barley flours, stone-ground to preserve the organoleptic properties of the cereals, and has two workshops: one for the production of delicious baked goods (witches, piadinas and biscuits), where the eggs and flours produced on the farm are used; and one for the processing of cereals from the complete processing of rice, spelt and barley to their packaging in vacuum-packed bags ready for sale.

The Cerutti farm participates in the Mercato Contadino dell'Acquedotto, held every Thursday morning in Piazza XXIV Maggio in Ferrara, and the Mercato Contadino di Porta Paola, held every Friday morning in Via Donatori di Sangue, near Porta Paola.
