C.I.A. - Italian Confederation of Farmers

The Italian Farmers' Confederation is a secular organisation that is autonomous from parties and governments. It works in Italy, Europe and internationally for the progress of agriculture and for the defence of farmers' incomes and equal dignity in society.

The Cia is made up of trade associations, institutes and companies that work for food safety and environmental protection, in the field of social security, social, health, tax and fiscal assistance, technical consultancy, training, insurance, agrotourism, organic farming and for the protection of the elderly, women and young people. The confederation has representatives in major international, EU, national, regional and provincial bodies.
